Pawze

Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Pawze is a focus app: you lock distracting apps, and only an everyday object you photograph (your "totem") unlocks them early. Finished locks earn paws for a cat-rescue game. It's built to keep your data on your phone.

What stays on your phone

These never leave your device:

Optional: account and unlock codes

If you sign in, which is optional, Pawze uses Supabase to hold your account: your email address, and your Google account's basic profile (name, email, picture) if you use Google sign-in. That lets Pawze email you a one-time unlock code. The emails are sent from [email protected] through Resend. Your locks, apps, totems, stats and cats are not uploaded.

You can delete your account any time: Account & privacy → Delete account. This removes it from Supabase.

Optional: anonymous usage stats

Pawze asks once whether to share anonymous stats, and they're off unless you say yes. If you say yes, it sends counts through PostHog, such as how long locks last, how locks end, and how quickly scans match.

You can switch them off any time in Account & privacy.
